If your degree, school or employer is out of reach, a certificate on paper may not help you. A Sanad chain records a claim about a skill, the evidence behind it and who signed what they saw. Anyone you choose can recompute it.

• Practice runs can be replayed from their seeds, so they prove effort, but they count for less than a watched sitting.
• A live sitting with independent examiners carries the most weight; the examiners' names and records are part of the chain.
• Skills that follow from one you have shown (its prerequisites) are suggested to you as inferred, with the reason. You choose whether to publish them.
• Sanad does not rank you and does not decide what a university or employer must accept.
